Alex Gutierrez, Owner/Operator
Alex graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a B.S. in Biology, minor in Chemistry and minor in Business. He has spent the last 17 years in construction, sales and customer service.
While he has extensive on-site training in various construction fields, the majority of his construction knowledge was honed in by an apprenticeship with a 12 year Carpenter from the New York Carpenter's Union, whom completed the BOCES Program and graduated from Alfred State with a degree in Building Construction with a focus in Carpentry.
In addition to spearheading the Production & Installation branch, Alex takes the reigns on bringing designs from thoughts and putting them onto paper (via 3D CAD designs) to help you visualize your project before construction begins, as well as providing start-to-finish guidance and communication. Attention to detail and a no-pressure approach throughout the entire project experience makes Alex the right person to lead the Sales & Project Management department of I Know A Guy-Construction Services.
Formation of the Company
After working for years at several companies, Alex decided it was time to use his skills, value, knowledge and care to build a business and a team with the goal of excellence in construction.
Using our time-honed skills and commitment to honest, hard work, we strive to bring the best possible experience to you before, during and after your project.
Our projects include both new construction and repairs/restorations. We provide a large selection of services to fit every homeowner's unique needs. And we can also plan, design, manage, and build multi-phase jobs.
